Birgess Angelus, CMP

FOUNDER AND OWNER OF B LINE EVENTS

Birgess started B Line Events over decade ago, and brings passion to creating unforgettable experiences in both professional and personal life. She is a hugger, not a hand-shaker, but that doesn't stop her from negotiating a solid contract. Birgess brings experience and energy that make her a unique force in the events community. Family life for Birgess includes two daughters, her husband (owner of the famed San Francisco Bacon Bacon establishments), and as you'd expect, a steady stream of parties and events. These ones, however, almost always have costumes.

VICE PRESIDENT, KEY ACCOUNTS

Elizabeth has been with B Line since it’s early beginnings going back over a decade. Elizabeth loves the combination of creativity and detail management in her role at B Line. She is a glass half-full kind of gal and tries to find the good in every person and situation. Elizabeth can take on a surprising amount of tasks while maintaining an upbeat, even-keeled attitude that makes her a calming force at any event. Elizabeth is active in NCCMPI, and serves as secretary for the Maher Scholarship Foundation. On the weekends, Elizabeth can be found outside on adventures around the city with her two kids and husband, or hosting dinner parties at home.

SENIOR MEETING PLANNER, HEAD OF CREATIVE

Ashley’s known what she’s wanted to be when she grows up since the 1991 movie, Father of the Bride. Profoundly driven, Ashley flourishes in B Line’s self-managed environment where her creativity blossoms. Ashley can tackle the challenge of an “out of the box” program while her love of spreadsheets and micro organizing makes her an asset to any program. She holds a degree in Events Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and has ten+ years of diverse event experience working in the non-profit/ fundraising space, venue management, high-end catering and meeting/event production. Outside the office, she loves to travel the world, read, hike, brunch and spend time with her family.

Kristen Kerns

PROGRAMS MANAGER

Kristen is a true extrovert and has no problem being the first one to an event and the last one to leave. Her passion for travel is a great fit for her position at B Line, taking her around the world and keeping her milage status current. Kristen is game for anything and this makes her a true event person and a delight at any event. After taking a break from her career in sales and marketing to raise a couple of kids, Kristen found her way to B Line where she continues to coin the hashtag #igotthis. When she's not on-site with clients, you can find Kristen chasing after her dog Kody, her two boys and her husband in Seattle.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Monique loves logistics and has a backup plan for your backup plan. Her work style is efficient and loves incorporating technology into any process. Monique’s love of flavors brings a “foodie” perspective to every event she plans. Luckily for B Line, Monique now calls San Francisco home, after living in Texas, Southern California and abroad in Qatar. When not working or traveling, Monique can be found researching the coffee shops and restaurants to experience on her next trip, taking her westie, Memphis, out for a stroll or cheering at the Giants game with her husband.
